RUHS Medical Center

Although the institution is over 100 years old, a new modern, seismically compliant building opened in March 1998 in Moreno Valley. The Medical Center is a 520,000 square foot state-of-the-art tertiary care and level 1 adult and pediatric trauma facility that cares for 90,000 patients/year with a total of 439 beds. 12 outlying clinics provide care for our diverse patient population and act as a networked referral base for the hospital. RUHS has 12 operating rooms, a helipad located directly adjacent to the Trauma Center, and state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging services. The Emergency Department is currently undergoing renovation and expansion. There are adult, pediatric, and neonatal intensive care units, an obstetrics unit, and complete pulmonary services with hyperbaric oxygen treatment capabilities.

Redlands Community Hospital

Established in 1904, RCH is an independent, non-profit community hospital serving approximately 54,000 patients annually, and is a Stroke Center and soon-to-be STEMI center. PGY-3 residents rotate for 2-3 months due to its reputation as a vital healthcare hub and a valuable training ground. Residents enhance their clinical skills by encountering a diverse range of medical conditions, adapt to available resources, gain autonomy in decision-making, establish connections with the local community, and benefit from a close-knit staff. This immersive experience prepares them for successful and compassionate medical careers.
